VASQUE CANYON
San Jorge Gulf Basin. Argentina

The Cañadón Vasco deposit is located in the north of the province of Santa Cruz, within the San Jorge Gulf Basin, in the Folded Belt sector, an area of high structural complexity and productive relevance.

Its reservoirs correspond mainly to the Bajo Barreal Formation (Upper Cretaceous), composed of high quality sandstones with high lateral continuity, with potential for secondary recovery and optimization work.

Cañadón Vasco is part of the group of mature areas with projected productive revitalization in southern Argentina, contributing to energy development and local employment in the San Jorge Gulf region.
